Alumnus of the Month - October 2021
Today is a good time to celebrate one of our own. We are excited to present Surveyor Mrs Janet Maame Adwoa Ghartey as our alumnus of the month of October 2021.Janet is a Building Manager at Broll Ghana Limited, the leading property management company in Ghana, and has direct responsibility for the Accra Financial Centre. She is a member of the 2013 year group.
Janet was a member of our first batch of BSc Real Estate students. The experiment has definitely yielded great results, which are reflected in her achievements. After a successful national service at Broll Ghana Limited under the supervision of Mr Tony Sekyere, the current CEO, she was appointed as an Assistant Property Manager in the same company, a role she held between 2014 and 2018. This was a period of learning, skills development and exposure to the world of professional property management. She enrolled as a trainee Professional Member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) and passed the professional examinations, leading to her commissioning as a Chartered Surveyor of the Estates and Valuations Division. In 2018, Janet was promoted to the position of Property Manager, having gained the experience, knowledge and skills to manage property on her own. Her sterling performance subsequently earned her another appointment as the Building Manager of the Accra Financial Centre, a leading commercial property at the heart of Accra.
